Module 1 The Process of Career Change

Start with understanding your situation, your feelings about job search and what stress-factors may be influencing how you feel.

Begin to identify the transferable skills, knowledge, and experience that you could offer an employer and use them to target specific vacancies that match what you’re able to deliver.

Module 3 CVs and Application Forms

Your CV’s only job is to get you an interview, so maximise its chances by ensuring you’re using the right type. You’ll also learn how to write an effective covering letter, and answer competency-based questions on application forms.

Module 4 Creating a Portfolio of your Work

Next, you’ll build up evidence to produce a portfolio of your work and achievements; a vital tool to compliment your CV and bring along to interviews.

Module 5 Finding Vacancies

Learn how to analyse job adverts to determine if you match what the employer is looking for. You’ll also discover how to approach your network seeking opportunities – it’s not what you know, but who.

Module 6 The Unadvertised Market

The unadvertised job market provides a huge opportunity to put yourself above the crowd and source roles that aren’t yet advertised. Discover how to make speculative approaches to employers, highlighting your skills and motivation to go above and beyond to find a role.
